The Add to Units: My List form enables you to add units to the Units: My List view (on page 1). In this form, you can type the container numbers of the units that you want to add to the Units: My List view, or you can select text from another application and press Ctrl+v to paste text in this form. If the text contains container numbers and units exist with these containers as the primary equipment, N4 adds these units to the Units: My List view.

For example, you may receive an email that reads as follows:

You need to inspect containers APLU8764531, NYKU9954321, and MATU4562383 once you have received them.

You can paste all the text from the email in the form, and N4 adds the units for the three containers to the Units: My List view.

N4 applies the instance security to the Units: My List view similar to any other view. If you enter a container number for which a unit exists in N4, but you do not have permission to view the unit, N4 does not add the unit to the Units: My List view.

Notes

• If multiple units exist for a container, N4 adds the most recent unit in the Active, Advised, or Departed transit state (on page 1), in that order of preference.

• You can also add units beginning with non alphanumeric characters such as '/' to the Units: My List view.
